One timed operation. A typical web request emits 20–60. We show a live estimate before you ever pay.
Nothing dramatic. Ingest continues, overage bills at $1.20 per million spans, and we alert you at 80%. We never drop your data silently.
Head-based sampling is optional and off by default. Errors and slow traces are always kept, on every plan.
Stoop customers can run single-tenant ingest in their own AWS/GCP account. The UI stays cloud — that's how it stays fast.
You already did the hard part: OpenTelemetry. Point OTLP at us, run both for a week, delete the expensive one.
AWS us-east-1 by default; pick eu-central-1 at workspace creation and it never leaves the EU. Stoop can run ingest inside your own AWS or GCP account. We don't sell, share, or train on your telemetry.
Cancel in-app, effective at the end of the billing period — no calls, no "retention specialist". Your workspace drops to Glide limits, you can export everything via OTLP replay or an S3 dump, and stored data is deleted 30 days after you ask.
