SPEED IS TRUST
A query that takes ten seconds gets run once. A query that takes fifty milliseconds becomes a habit. Habits find incidents.
MANIFESTO
Failing blind is a choice.
We refuse it.
Kestrel started at 3:11am, in the glow of six dashboards that all disagreed. The metrics said healthy. The logs said nothing. The customers said otherwise. Our founders spent four hours grepping across three vendors to find one bad deploy — a fix that took ninety seconds. The incident review had one action item nobody wrote down: this tooling is the incident. We built the thing we needed that night: every signal in one place, joined at ingest, queryable before the adrenaline fades. A kestrel hunts by hovering — perfectly still in a moving sky, seeing everything, striking once. That's the whole product strategy.

Correlation across browser tabs is not correlation. Signals join at ingest or they never truly join.
Every page must be actionable, attributed, and worth the wake-up. Noise is a breach of contract.
Quiet pagers are. We measure ourselves in incidents you never had.
Kestrel Systems, Inc. Founded 2024. Fourteen people, nine time zones, zero offices. We run production on Kestrel and page ourselves with it — the roadmap is whatever hurt last week. This site: hand-built by KRYPTO PICO — no framework, one canvas, ~90KB of JS. It should feel fast. That's the point.
